To take into account the difficulties that some of you experience with travelling, the conference will be held in a hybrid format.

We wish however to underline that the number of cases is currently decreasing steeply in France, and is expected to reach a low number by the end of March. One of the goals of this conference is to bring together actors of the Bacillus cereus, anthracis and thuringiensis community and to promote direct exchanges, which unfortunately did not happen in the last 5 years, due to the Covid crisis. The BACT 2022 organizing committee therefore hopes to enjoy your presence in Paris.

The deadline for abstract submissions is postponed to March 15.

The fees include all taxes.

Fees cover access to the meeting, a welcome cocktail party, a gala dinner, all lunches as well as morning and afternoon breaks.

Registration fees must be paid in full by the indicated deadlines.
Payment via cards or transfers are preferred.

An option to pay via purchase order is offered. However, we ask participants to only use this mode of payment if necessary. The same PO number can be used for several participants. However, the full names of each participant must be indicated on the PO form. Registrations made using a PO number must be done by February 24.

 

Participants that cannot attend the meeting due to reasons related to the Covid-19 sanitary situation or other major reason will be reimbursed of the meeting fees, upon presentation of a document justifying the cancellation.

 

Refunds will be made as follows due to administrative and venue costs:

Until March 31: 100% of the registration fees are refunded

From March 31 to April 8: 80% of the registration fees are refunded

After April 8: no refunds 


Participants whose abstract are not selected for an oral presentation will be guaranteed a poster slot,  provided that the subject is in adequacy with the themes of the congress as mentioned on the website homepage.

The size of the posters is not imposed. Posters boards will be in the following format: 1 m wide x 2 m high. The fixing material will be provided.
